Tuesday 19 July: Between 60 and 70 volunteers attended one of our Volunteer Coffee Mornings today in the Lecture Hall at the Museum. It may have been the hottest day of the year but the Hall is, mercifully, one of the coolest places in Salisbury on a day like this (perhaps in more senses than one!) and light refreshments may have helped.
Those who attended were more than interested in the talk given by the Director, Adrian Green, and in the presentation by Michael Fountain. More on this later…. and, of course, another opportunity to hear it all on Thursday this week.
